Things To Do

There is a wide variety of things to do in Prairie Village all year round. If you enjoy outdoor activities, be sure to check out the 12 city parks which offer biking and walking trails, playgrounds, athletic fields, and tennis courts which are open to the public. The local pool complex has two water slides, a plunge pool, and they have their own swim team which competes with local teams from around the area. The Prairie Village Jazz Festival and VillageFest are great attractions throughout the year which pull in people from all over the area.

There are four major shopping centers located in Prairie Village. The Prairie Village Shopping center, Corinth Square Shopping Center, State Line Road Shopping Center, and Meadowbrook Shopping Center. The Village Shopping Center offers both local and big box stores. Be sure to check out The Better Cheddar. With a wide assortment of gourmet cheeses, wines, and other specialty items from around the world, you are sure to find the perfect treat to enjoy at home or at a party. Euston Hardware is another special gem with an amazing array of products and services that every home-buyer needs.

At the Corinth Square Shopping Center, you will find BRGR Kitchen and Bar and Spin Pizza. Both restaurants offer amazing eats for the whole family. With a wide-array of choices on both menus, your family is sure to find a meal that will not disappoint. Urban Table is a local gem that serves a variety of food with an urban-market vibe. Their farm to table philosophy puts it a step ahead of other local restaurants. The Big Biscuit is a great casual café that offers some of the largest biscuits and sticky buns you have ever seen.
