Things To Do

Downtown Parkville is known for its historic landmarks, antique shops, and art galleries. The Cathy Kline Art Gallery and Bauer Glass Etching are just two of the many great art galleries you can visit while in Downtown Parkville. If you and your family enjoy the outdoors, English Landing Park is the place to be! The park is a 68-acre facility along the Missouri River with three miles of walking trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and many other fun attractions.

If you prefer a more exclusive setting, be sure to check out the National Golf Club of Kansas City. This golf course is known for its rich tradition and beautiful course designed exclusively by former PGA professional Tom Watson.

Along the beautiful Missouri river, you will find the Historic Downtown Parkville shops and boutiques. Finders Keepers and the La Bottega Vintage Market are just some of the town favorites. You will be sure to find all sorts of fun furniture and decorations that you can enjoy for a lifetime. If you enjoy a more upscale shopping experience, be sure to check out The Village at Burlington Creek. Here you can enjoy an assortment of unique boutiques and restaurants. They even have an ice skating rink in the winter and a sand volleyball court in the summer which I am sure all families will enjoy.

If you prefer a nice evening out on the town, try Bone Fish Grill or Em Chamas. Both restaurants offer fine dining, delicious food, and a wonderful selection of wines and specialty drinks.
