Things To Do

The recently renovated Downtown Mission is the place to be. The farmers market is a hit with the locals and is open every Saturday from June to September. With an average of 12 food vendors each week and local music acts, your family is sure to have a great time. The Mission Family Aquatic Center is a great place to spend the summers with your family as well. There are also several parks and trails in the area that your family will enjoy.

Where To Shop

The Prairie Village Shopping Center is located at 71st and Mission Road and is a great place to go shopping. With both local and big box stores, The Village is sure to have something for everyone. Be sure to check out The Better Cheddar. With a wide assortment of gourmet cheeses, wines, and other specialty items from around the world, you are sure to find the perfect treat to enjoy at home or at a party. Euston Hardware is another special gem with an amazing array of products and services that every home-buyer needs.

Where To Eat

For some great local barbecue, try Johnny’s BBQ in Mission, Kansas. The ribs are wonderful and the portions are large. You will definitely leave feeling like you got a great deal! Town Topic is another local favorite in the area. The juicy burgers and thick cut onion rings are the best in town. For some local pizza, drop in for lunch or dinner at d’Bronx. Their New York Style pizza and Italian sandwiches are perfect on any day.
