Kansas City North, also known as, “The Northland” is an expansive area located just north of Downtown Kansas City. This growing community is home to the Kansas City International Airport, one-of-a kind restaurants, shopping districts, and the first casinos in the state of Missouri. The Northland is one of the fastest growing areas in the state of Missouri right now. It is known for its great schools, friendly communities, and amazing location.

Things To Do

The Northland has an array of options for fun activities for the family. Be sure to check out Worlds and Oceans of Fun. The Amusement Park and Water Park are a great way to spend your summer days having fun with the kids. Be sure to also check out the Improv for an amazing comedy show and dinner.  For some extra fun, be sure to check out one of the several casinos in the area. You are sure to hit it big and have a ton of fun!

Where To Shop

For big name stores in an intimate setting, check out Zona Rosa. Located right off 1-29 highway, Zona Rosa offers a great selection of shopping and restaurants for the whole family. For a unique shopping experience, check out Briarcliff Village where you will find lots of locally owned boutiques and stores including the famous Nell Hill’s. Nell Hill’s is a gorgeous home furnishings store that drives people from all over inside. This will definitely be worth your time to visit.

Where To Eat

Be sure to check out the original Stroud’s in the Northland. This is a local legend for its home-style fried chicken and fixins’. You may have a bit of a wait, but believe me, it’s worth it. If you are interested in fine dining, be sure to try Piropos and Trezo Mare. For a fun night out, check out Draftcade in Zona Rosa. Here you will find a throwback arcade bar with craft beers and old school favorites.
